# Check usage and credits

In Usage & Credits, you can check current usage, check usage trends, review consumption history, and set an on-demand usage limit.

## Check credit usage

1. In the lower-left corner of the screen, click the account icon, then click **Settings**.
2. In the left menu, click **Usage & Credits**.

In the **Credit Usage** card at the top of the page, you can check your current usage and available credits. Paid plans show usage for the current billing period. The **Trial Plan** uses one-time credits and does not have a reset date.

| Item              | Description                                                                                        |
| ----------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Credits used      | The number of credits consumed in the current period shown on the page                             |
| Remaining credits | The number of credits currently available                                                          |
| Reset date        | The date when usage resets on recurring paid plans. The **Trial Plan** does not have a reset date. |

## Check usage trends

In the **Usage Over Time** section on the Usage page, you can check credit usage in a graph for a specified period.

1. Click **Select dates** and set the period you want to check.
2. Click **Apply**.

The **Consumption History** section shows detailed usage records for the selected period. Each row records the date, user, session, and number of credits consumed.

## Set an on-demand usage limit

In environments where the on-demand usage card is shown, you can enable on-demand usage and set a limit.

On-demand usage settings can be changed only on plans with billing enabled. You need **Admin** or **Owner** permissions to change them.

1. In the **On-Demand Usage** card, click **Set Limit**.
2. Enable on-demand usage as needed.
3. Enter the monthly credit limit in units of 1,000 credits.
4. Click **Save**.
